Issue Position

Having been in the security business most of my adult life I understand the threats that face us and how to keep us safe. The number one priority of the federal government is to protect us at all times. We live in a dangerous world and with a different type of warfare than we saw 30 years ago. The United States needs to remain strong in our defense and as President Theodore Roosevelt said "Speak softly and carry a big stick; you will go far." I will support policies that fully fund our troops and make sure we are continuing to take care of them when they return home. I will oppose any reduction in troops; these are the types of Government jobs we should be investing in.
